    Wip Oct / Nov '17 Lite Challenge : La 31ème île d'Inktober

    Hi fellows,

I decided to shoot two birds with one stone. First, this lite challenge and second an Inktober map. Here comes the linework of the map. I used the outline of one of the islands and printed in the poorest quality possible then redrew the outline and worked from that. I added some islands to make an original compass rose and drew all by hand on a A4 ivory sheet. Pencil then ink for the mountains and direct ink for the rest (and some math instruments). It took 2 and a half hour to draw.

I don't know if I'll have the time to color it or even shade it but if I do not do it by the deadline, I'll still be able to do it later Anyways, the map looks finished enough to be eligible for the voting polls (at least by my standards). As always, critics and comments are welcome and I know I was lazy on the mountains

A great entry for the last inktober day.

    Comme d'hab, ça déchire!
Merci beaucoup fol2dol The compass came to me when I read something about being allowed to ad some islands. At first I wanted to give some moves to the shape and I noticed the big gap on my map. They had to be here

Thanks Bogie ! As I said above, it was a great space filler

So, I procrastinated on a project today (I'll work on it tonight) and played a bit with the colors. I did a more discreet version for the ocean and I'll show it at some point but I decided I'd go for something more vivid. I also redid the title and the signature. I suspect the border will have to be reworked heavily. The colors and shadows are not final and I'm opened to every critic, do not hesitate.
