    Wip WIP - Magnolia Mansion

My monthly game sessions so often dictate what map I have to throw together. This one is for next month - a place in the Fey Realm called "Magnolia Mansion", the home of an elf wizard named Xalos.

I never seem to have the time to actually finish these maps, but this will be enough to get the game going. I hope to be adding a second half which will be "Magnolia Gardens".

Done in Illustrator and Photoshop and mixed a few different techniques...total WIP.MagnoliaMansion.png

    Hi Sue! Hope all's well!

Thanks. I have the initial layout of what I think the gardens will look like in my WIP folder. Literally thrown together!

I like the way you've done the trees this time

Well, I'm quickly running out of time before my next game session and the scope of my map has grown. So, I'm kind of rushing now. Functionality first, if time permits I'll go back and try to work on my actual technique!

I've got a few more sections to create before the map(s) are "game ready"...but here's where I'm at.

    Open for any input!

    Very neat and tidy

It must have taken some time to get all those little details sorted out.

Thanks Arsheesh! I hope so. Time is running out quickly and I've still got a few sections to go...plus finish writing game material.

Had a chance to put the current pieces together. Some clean up work needs to be done so they "match", but I knew that going into it. Oh well. Next steps will be the lower right section which will be a side yard and a stable. The top left which will be a small lake on the property called "Cypress Lake" (surrounded by Cypress trees). The right hand section of the Aviary Parterre and one additional garden with another patio that overlooks the croquet court (this might be the first time croquet has ever appeared in a D&D/Pathfinder game!)
