Default A Kontinens (commission map 2018)

    Hi there !
Good Guild fellows, here is my first commission map that took me some time to achieve. It's a continental map for a private rpg campaign.
Done with The Gimp and Inkscape for labels.
I want to try something more cartoonish with inky colors.
    Hope you like it.
Feel free to comment, rate or rep.
    Cheers.

This looks really good Warlin, and all the more impressive that you did this in GIMP (a difficult feat, given how tablets are not currently supported in GIMP). I like the color choices. The red labels are striking against the green and brown of the terrain. All in all a fantastic job!

    Cheers,

I love the dynamic shape of this continent, and how the hexes are so subtle that they just melt into the landscape. Very cool. I'm going to be doing some maps for a shared world campaign with multiple DMs and player groups, and this is great inspiration for a world that can easily accommodate that.

As soon as I can, i'll try Krita. But for now I have to deal with Gimp.

Thanks SavageCritter. I'm happy that the shape please you, it was a goal I was aiming to for this map. Good luck with your world campaign RPG.

    First, congratulations!
I'm hesiting to thanks your client(s) as well, since it's a top notch map. I love the organic form of the lands and you managed to do the different lands with efficiency and aesthetic (love the jungles especially).
    Great job!
