    Default Looking for Tavern/Bar Inspiration

I'm looking for inspiration... I've been in old bars, taverns and restaurants that have horrible layouts. Lots of disconnected rooms, confusing passages, tight stairs... You know, someplace an engineer or architect would NEVER design, but something that grows through decades or centuries of acquisition, etc.

Does anyone have any layout or sketches or maps of such places? One place I've been that sort of gives this feel is the Three Sisters in Gronigen; https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drie_Gezusters_(bedrijf)

I'd look for Prohibition era taverns, bars and Speakeasy pubs for starters.

Thanks, those are some of the things I've been trying, but can't find any layouts/floor plans/etc that would help make a map of one. Some cool photos though, like this one from the designer who did Alien; gn-gift_guide_variable_c.jpg
