Good morning everyone,

I hope that everyone is doing good!

I stumbled upon this community website while researching information and tools to work on a map for a book I am writing. My map making knowledge is next to nil apart from the few maps I have hand-drawn in the past to accompany stories I was writing. This time around though, I would like to invest more time and energy to create something great. I do not have a time constraint on finishing the product at this point and I do not intend to impose myself one until quite further down the line.

What is there to know about me?

In a nutshell, I am a 39 years old guy, who loves to write, play games, interact and be a part of multiple communities based on interests that I have. I live in a old school house, surrounded by farmlands and fresh air. I work in the big city, as an educator (special care counselor) with adults who are on the autism spectrum, have mental health issues, intellectual disabilities and severe challenging behaviors(among other challenges particular to each individuals). I love my work, but it has been sidetracked for the best part of the last 2 years because of a car accident. I am working hard to be able to return to work and a normal life (or at least what I have known for years to be a "normal life" for me)hopefully in the near future. Until then, I do my best to take it day by day and better myself in every ways possible while retaining my sanity.

I am looking forward to get to know people in this community and gain some knowledge. I welcome advice, information, inputs and opinions.
