Default October 2018 challenge: Devlin's Tower

Devlin's Tower is a structure built in the Midlands that overlooks the plains around it. Beneath its base is a little known artefact that is Devlin's Orb, a scrying sphere that is thaumatically linked to a number of towers and lookouts around the kingdom. A person with the correct skills and knowledge can invoke remote viewing of those other places just by looking out of the windows of Devlin's Tower.

I don't have a WIP just yet I just thought I'd claim a thread to give me some sort of motivation

Tempting as a whipping session sounds, I'd better get on with the map

This sounds like a fun idea. Can't wait to see it.

I don't know if I can be bothered with doing any more with this. I'm completely fed up. GIMP 2.10 is a pile of crap. And yes I know "save, save, save" but I just spent an age working on rivers and made a mistake of not saving them before I went on to putting colours and things in. Long story short - GIMP 2.10 is ridiculously slow on my system to do anything and eventually it crashes. I've lost everything after the last update. Yes I've ragequit and yes I'm in the huff because I have very little time as it is.

Sad to hear Straf. Gimp 2.10 has worked like a charm for me, I'm glad I was able to upgrade without a problem. 2.6 crashed constantly on me each day for months and months, I know your pain. Still, it is possible to find the older versions like 2.8 is it not?

I hope you find a workable solution. Good luck.
