I couldn't find a satisfactory map for the town guard headquarters, so I finally drew my own.

Mistakes were made along the way, as I experimented with the process, but overall I am happy with it and have learned some new things.

Nice work!

Nicely done! What software did you use?
Oh the humanity! After three days' work on this, I finally notice that I forgot to add stairs in the left-side second-floor towers! I'll leave those stairs for a special DLC...
Ah, technique. Your everyday HB pencil for the lineart, Photoshop for the rest. And lots of layers. Filesize is up to almost 800 MB, my computer is starting to complain.
Looks really good. As for the missing stairs you could just say the carpet is covering a trapdoor and on the south side its covered by a bunch of furniture and other junk .

Good job here, Domigorgon !
Thanks! Well that's the way it is. As a GM, I use other people's maps regulary, as I just couldn't find the time to prepare everything each week. But then I sometimes search and search fruitlessly... and it's time to roll up my sleeves.
I intend for my next map to also be something that's hasn't been done (or at least is hard to find), but first I have to figure out what that might be.
wow, amazing linework and the level of detail is incredible. It all looks so perfect and well constructed.
This is great work. Love the colours and the lighting.
