    Map First Battlemap: Kobold Lair

Definitely a few things to fix and improve, but still rather happy for my first battlemap as a new DM. Once Tuesday rolls around, I'll see how it fares in actual combat.

I need to figure out a good method for the wood elements. It's daunting enough that I didn't even worry on this one.
Also just realized I forgot to draw:
    1) weapons on the weapon rack
    2) the stairs in the hallway leading to the stone chamber.

Of course it wouldn't be a kobold encounter without traps -- there's a few pit traps and trip wires not shown.

    Feedback and advice are appreciated!

Excellent first map. Exactly what you need to run a great game. Hope you and your players have a blast.

That's a good map for use in a VTT or as a battlemap. Plenty of detail without being cluttered and also easy to understand what is what.

Just sketch thin lines on the wooden items to simulate wood grain. Really nice and clean looking map, by the way.

Nice gradient change along the cliff lines. Makes it feel like they roll back and up.

Looks great! I like how you did the walls, that brushwork around the stone looks fantastic. I personally would still slam about 10 paper textures on it, but that's just me and my issues I like how clear and not cluttered it is. I'll second Bogie, just what you need for a good encounter. I hope your players like it as much as we do.

This looks so clean! What software did you use to create this? Also, I love the fire pit glow!
