Wip Nov/Dec '18 Lite Challenge: The Mysteries of Eleusis

I am so happy to have the time to enter this challenge! I am done with my commissions for now and I had a brilliant idea for this month's challenge.
I decided to draw a map of the region of the ancient city of Eleusis, in the Attica region in Greece, where Demeter and Persephone were mainly worshiped. I've been recently playing a game which I hadn't played for some time, Titan Quest, which mainly takes place in ancient Greece.

So I started by making some nice greek style borders and I took a screenshot of the region of Eleusis in Greece. Right now I'm looking for old maps of the region in some history books.

Separated my work in three sections. Started the outline of the map.

I wanted to build it all before the destruction. Took it as a nice practice!

Some topography + defensive walls (not so defensive hehe). Enough for today. Probably gonna destroy that beautiful Telesterion tomorrow.
*That front wall really bugs me. I'm gonna put it down too.* Those damned Persians...

I've always had a soft spot for Ancient Greece, so I'm really enjoying seeing this come together.

Thanks PaperGriffin! The best thing is that I get to make a real historical research in order to make a reconstitution. I found some archaeological plans of the ruins of the city, but there is no reconstitution of it before the age of Pericles. I love working on it!
