    Default The Fugitive Malcom Fraser

    Hi everyone!

I confess I haven't put much thought in this map before drawing it out. I mostly wanted to test out a new type of paper I bought in A5 sheets, and since the paper itself felt precious I ended up doing a full map on it. It took a few hours at most, ink only.

I'm now tempted to experiment with my Copic Ciao, fearing to spoil the drawing.

    Some more pics:

Any suggestion in any direction would be much appreciated!

    Cheers,
    Jack

That looks amazing, Jack! And I bet all the Australians on the site will get a little giggle out of the name

Lol, i found it out right before starting the thread. I was just looking for a generic name for a dweller of the colonies! I guess i found one.

    Thank you!

Love it. The map looks great and the design is very nice too. Well done.

Oh my, this looks fantastic! I adore how you drew the terrain on this and those two closeups are a great addition. The border is simple but it works.

Great little piece! I think your username is a tad misleading y'know, this don't seem like the work of a lazy person to me...

    Splendid work Jack.
I'd love to see what you would do with the copics.
If you scan it in to a computer and then do a printout, you could do test colors on the print.
I've done that before. The copics can muddy the ink a bit, but not terribly.
It's a good way to try it without risking the original.

I also have to spread some rep before I can rep you again so soon.
    But, I will return.

I might as well try, after all i've taken the pics and I have no other use for the map!
As for the printout, i feel that copics should work on the proper paper. But it's a nice idea to do some color test, especially if printed on a laser printer.

Thanks anyways! I'm too small to actually worry for Rep, i guess.
