    Default The northern Sword Coast

    Greetings!

This is a map I created for a compilation of 10 dungeons located in the North. I drew it back in June of 2018 but only colored it in ~1.5 months ago. Regarding the creation:

It was the first real map I created so I started by watching some Youtube tutorials. I drew the coastline, rivers, mountains, and woods by hand on separate paper, scanned the drawings, and arranged everything with Photoshop. The coloring is also done with Photoshop. I also used InkScape to vectorize the drawings so I can scale it up to 300dpi without problem. That's why it doesn't have a real pencil look.

Looking forward to feedback and if you're interested in D&D 5e Dungeons you might as well check out the product the map is included in: https://www.dmsguild.com/product/247362 (I hope this ok)

    Thanks! ;D

Nice work! I think the Spine maybe doesn't come off a majestic as it could with this type of single mountain range, and the rivers maybe are a tiny bit too thick for my taste (them being solid black makes them stand out), but overall the style is solid. I really enjoy the colors and the texture this has.

A fine first post! Welcome to the Guild, and allow me to bestow your first rep upon you
