    Default Linnack Bridge

Finally finished this. Village with a bridge which was damaged in a flood at some point in the past.

Linnack means North Bridge in my conlang. So it's basically North Bridge Bridge. You know, kind of like how River Avon basically means River River.

    Nice work, as usual, Larb
For some reason, I am getting a dark vibe.. like a scene for a dark fable or horror movie.
    I like that bridge.

I'm glad you're getting a darker vibe. This is probably the palette I should have used for my Argot related maps. =P

Simple yet effective, i really love the final look!

My only doubt is on the "basic" ground grass: It feels a bit plastic, maybe something to rough it up? I like the way you added subtle grass lines around the main things, maybe something in that line? After all, if it's not cultivated land, there are some rocks and bushes around, no?

I'm still fond of your style, no doubt. That bridge is really well done.

    Thanks everyone for the comments.

The Lazy One: I can sort of see what you mean - that is why I use an overlaid grunge texture generally anyway. I'll try to break it up more on my next map. Usually said texture is at 10% on my other maps but is 7% on this specific palette. Maybe that is too subtle and I need to do more linework to compensate.

On a second thought, the problem might be on the edges: An almost-flat color is fine as long as the edges of it are not blurred, so it will feel as actual paint. This way it's hard to understand if it has faded due to time passing (then again, why is the rest so perfectly even?).
Again, just a minor thing, but worth discussing IMO.

The simple color-scheme works really well for this piece. Great job representing the drawbridge as well. Another great town piece.
