Default A (celtic-inspired) Roundhouse in perspective

    Hey everyone!

I recently shared the viking-inspired Longhouse over here, but here we go with the second one in the set, a roundhouse inspired more by celtic architecture. As with the longhouse, this roundhouse is not historical, but clearly inspired by these cultures. It is for 'The Dark Eye' / Aventurien, the Pen and Paper RPG I draw for most. It is a large building, but fairly typical in style of the whole region we need this for. I was much quicker with this one.

This three-point-perspective took me a while, simply because these things are made by hand and I don't involve 3D to keep it all in my hand to alter what I need on the fly. Also: Many curves. I've saved some WIPs, and I'll add them at a later point in the following comment.

Hopefully, you'll like it. Had a blast drawing this and a lot of freedom, since this culture wasn't heavily featured in the past 35 years of the games' existence.
If you have any questions, just ask away. =)

This is awesome, I really appreciate the WIP, they really help to understand the process. I seriously need to figure out drawing perspective myself, I'm afraid if charged with a task like this, I would make a 3d model to draw over. I like the corner ornamentation too, very nice.
