Map The Forsaken land, area 51 of Guild World

It has a troubled history of epidemics, war and migrations.
Some tried to settle the interior but got discouraged or killed.
Only a handful of human cities remain, mostly on the coastlines.
Crusaders tried to expel the evil from the land, but heir foreign funding ran dry a while ago.
They rarely send expeditions anymore. All the territories gained during the grand campaigns have been lost.
Goblinoids, reptilians and the rest of the local fauna are now fighting each other to control the area. There is also a fair deal of infighting.
Meanwhile, the demons are expanding their domain in the south west. They come from another dimension, using the portal that have been left open.

Do you need a png with transparency to do this?

Oh, no I should be fine with your map. Its not too hard to cut that one out from the background. Sometimes it can be but in this case I think its ok.

Very cool! I really like the varied vegetation in this map. Great background as well, this sounds like it would make for a fantastic mid-level RPG campaign setting. Nice work all around.

Wow! Not many different elements for this map, but the way you draw and arrange them is amazing! The visual effect is just great ! The drawing has incredible dynamics! It's probably also due to all the work you've done to draw all these trees! The effect is also reinforced with your treatment of the colors and this gradient upwards... Bravo ! Excellent work!
If I had only one criticism, it would be in the choice of font for the labels: A more fanciful font would have the merit to add character to the map, to give it an extra "color".

What a wonderful addition to the world.
I love it. Such variety of vegetation.

Apparently I have to spread rep. I'll be back.
