Photoshop CC. I use a Huion Inspiroy H950P tablet. Before I had a Wacom Intuos 3. The Huion can easily keep up to the Wacom but is way cheaper.

I like the subtle colors and textures in your map. I'm very curious about the further development and the points of interest you are planning there. Have you worked on the same world/setting before or is it completely new?
And do you already know all your POI, or do you invent them while exploring your map?

It's based on an older map (land mass mainly), but a new setting.
I have a few ideas for POI and I'm open for suggestions.

Wonderful style and colors, I can't wait to see this piece labeled! I don't think I would bother with filling lakes like you did the sea though. Another thing that bothers me is the blue mushroom forest; it kind of makes the whole island disappear, but I don't know how I would fix that.
