And yes, I know, the buildings I added from a set look a bit weird. It's more markers to where stuff is. Ignore them.

As a general thing, I think it's good when you can look at a map and get a general gist of what's going on, then focus your attention in to see more detail in specific areas of interest. You've got some of that going on with the color differences between the northern/western areas versus the southeast, because of the change in color. You look at the map and first get this sense that there are these two distinct regions with different sorts of landscapes. Where it works less well for me is with your mountains -- you have little dollops of mountains all across the land. I think it would look better if you had some areas that were very mountainous and others without mountains, and if the mountains were organized into larger ridges.
Fiddled a bit more with it, reorganized the pins (reachable via the button in the top right).
