    Default The Fungimancers' Retreat

Originally founded by the gnomes, the Fungimancers' Retreat is a shelter for a very unusual kind of wizard.

Here, the mushroom enthusiasts may study in peace and perfect their knowledge of the fungal arts while enjoying the most opulent truffle meals ever cooked.

Made with Corel Painter 12 and Inkscape for the labels.

EDIT: Updated version of the map uploaded on 12/03/2020 and featuring more natural colors.

I absolutely love this map, the atmosphere, the colors... I'm curious though: how do you use Inkscape and how do you manage to give your shapes that natural look? Amazing work.

Thank you ! All the work is done using Painter 12 and my faithful Wacom Intuos Pro. I like to keep a hand-drawn feel to my maps.

Inkscape is only for the labels, as it gives me more freedom to shape them.

Thanks for asking by the way, I edited my post for more clarity.
