The Free Cities of Saridia

I made this in about a day (using Photoshop) for a homebrew RPG with friends. The setting is similar to Renaissance Italy, with a collection of independent city-states vying for supremacy amid an incursion by a stronger foreign power (the Dalarian Empire). Saridia is awash with mercenary companies that have grown rich off the internecine fighting that is practically endemic to the small continent.

I tried out a few new techniques with this one, but the style is intentionally simplistic. It's been a few years since I've made maps or even visited this site, but thought I'd throw it here.

It may be a bit simplistic, but it is very clear and shows the topography very well. The city state banners also look really cool!
