    Post Hello from Northern Scotland

Hi All, I'm Iain/WargamingR based between Inverness/Elgin in northern Scotland.

I've been playing AD&D since University, and I still play with the same guys 40 years later. We've been thru 1st/3rd/3.5/PF and now playing 5e, which I am really liking.

Used to write lots of dungeons "back in the day" and still have lots of ideas I want to develop. And I have always loved maps - in the UK we're very fortunate to have the Ordnance Survey who make some of the best maps in the world, and from an early age they have fascinated me.

Now, all these years later, I have found Wonderdraft and I'm currently recreating a "paper & pencil" campaign map from 30 years ago as a present for my buddies - and then onto new worlds :-)

Very grateful for all the tutorials and guidance here - hope I can contribute something back soon!

    Welcome!
Must say it's been a long time since I was last there but it's a nice part of the country
Looking forward to seeing some of your work

I must say I've been there twice, and both times loved it, both the lan an the people. The north of Scotland still remains one of my favourite travels ever. Used Ordnance Survey maps in my last one, and though they took some time to get to Spain, proved to be really useful when hiking the Highlans, specially when arriving in the area around Loch Hourn and north. Plus I must admit I like the graphics in the maps themselves. Hope to see many maps from you! Be welcome
