Complete beginner here Oo

Hi everyone,

My name is Simon, and I am 28 y.o. and as you will soon understand I am not a native english speaker...

I stumbled upon this forum a while ago, and have always been fascinated by your strange talent to give a concrete form to your imagination... I am not an artist myself, but I would probably would like to become one someday. I have started writing my very own adventure for Pathfinder 2e, and I have taken this chance to design my own maps and assets to give life to it. I recently started using Wonderdraft to create my first maps, and quickly switched to photoshop. I am a complete beginner and maybe in some time I will be able to share with your my humble creations.

Until then I will keep scouring through this forum to find inspiration, in your incredible works, if you don't mind. It is a pleasure to finally meet you all, see you soon on the forum

We all were beginners once. If you'd like to share some of your creations and get some help and feedback on your way, please don't hesitate. If you've been around a while you hopefully have already noticed what a friendly and helpful community we have here. But if you'd rather just sit back and practice a bit more before sharing, that is of course all right too. I think I was around for a good couple of years before I ever posted any of my maps here, so I do understand that perfectly well. But we are here to help and chat if you want

Welcome to the Guild Simon, I'm glad you decided to join us! Good to see another digital map maker as well. I work primarily in Procreate but I do use Photoshop as well so I'm always happy to help if you have any questions!

Lots of people use Photoshop. No harm in switching or using both for the best qualities of both programs! Welcome to the guild, share whenever you feel ready.
