I am a huge fan of roleplaying games and became map addict with softwares like Inkarnate and Dungeondraft.

The pandemic played a role also as I was forced to play through VTT like Roll20. I really like the possibility and how easy it is to use maps and battlemaps on VTT.
On a real table, there is always so much food and so many dice everywhere...

But even if these softwares are great, they are heavily fantasy focused and I personally like science-fiction, post-apo, horror, and modern worlds.
I bought the Affinity suite, which include an equivalent to Photoshop and to Illustrator. I intend to learn how to create my own assets to be able to make my own maps from scratch.

My first post here, so I should say a teensy bit about myself. I'm a complete mapping noob. Generally, I am into fast maps, or those vector maps which I can recycle or reuse in my TTRPGs.
I guess I may be more of a mapping consumer here rather than creator. I enjoy using Inkscape and Gimp. My
