    Map Watermill in Autumn, Watercolour

    Hi Everyone

Here is another little isometric watercolour scene that I completed recently. This one is not really based on a real-world location although I did use some reference images of Mountain Brook Mill in Alabama to get started. One of my main goals with this piece was to try getting a bit more creative with the water than I usually would so I've painted in some subtle reflections and tried to give it an interesting texture.

The map is done using all physical materials as outlined below
    - A5, 200gsm watercolour paper
    - Dip pen with black Windsor & newton calligraphy ink
    - Pebeo studio watercolour paints

As always prints and products based on this print can be found on my store.

I've just realized that I spelt Autumn wrong in the thread title, could one of the mods correct this for me?

I love every bit about this. The mill is perfect. The water looks great with the reflections. My only nit is the foliage trees could use som more love. This is Autumn, after all!

Looks great! Both the drawing and the colouring.
