    Question Hellooo

Not first time browsing this site, but first time registering here.

Writing a story for a game and wanted to start with a map. So obviously, I need to learn from the experts (while having zero experience in map making).

Also, is it just me or new users can't select General Options in profile? I like to increase post counts on display (among other things).

Welcome to the guild ! Yes I think you need to make the 5 posts before you can start modifying profile. Spammers would come here, sign up, not make any posts and start adding links to all sorts of things and then get indexed by google. So I think its just part of the forum that you need a couple of posts to break the ice. Well your up by one now so post some old maps and stuff like that or talk about your upcoming game.

    Ah alright.

Well, I'm up by two posts now. I'm a hard worker totally not a procrastinator, so I'll get that post count up.

Welcome to the Guild Niksha, I'm glad you decided to join us! Definitely a lot of talented cartographer's floating around here with a lot of knowledge to share so don't hesitate to ask, share your work, and ask for feedback. Always happy to help!

Thank you for the welcome guys (feels rude to not reply).

Going through the "Interviews with Cartographers" right now, the maps are just mind blowing, and I guess I'm not the only one who got inspired by Tolkien (I thought I was special).

Man I wish maps like these were a thing in Geography classes back in the day, would've been far more exciting to sit through THOSE classes.
