I haven't been mapping alot on my leave, but I reused my challenge entry for a political map to make a better travelmap for my players.
I removed all the banners and put in cities, towns, roads, borders and other places of interest.
Yes it's CC3 elements.
I hope you like it.
I'm going to make an old dwarf stronghold, all frozen over as my next project

I'm not sure about the top down mountains combined with the isometric icons, but otherwise this is a very pretty map.

Yeah I'd have to agree with Torstan - the map is great, the 'icons' don't quite work for me.

I think the two styles can be made to work together, just not sure that the CC3 icons work. One of the maps I did a while ago I used stuff from the CivFanatics forums. Something similar might work a bit better as they are more 'painterly' than the ones you are using and might blend better with the style of the map.
