    Map Agathea (Commission)

    output-onlinejpgtools (1).jpg

I just finished this continent map for a repeat client, completely hand drawn in Clip Studio Paint (my first map using that program, and I love it). It feels slightly unfinished, since my client asked that it be left blank so that he could add countries, cities, etc himself in World Anvil. This map is of one continent of a larger world, which I had previously mapped in a topographic style (see here).

Edit: You can now see the full resolution version here.

Nice work. It's a pity we can't see the labelling too, but it looks good as is.

Clean and well done. The coloring is particularly efficient.

Thank you both! I continue to try and improve my hand drawn style. My mapping new years resolution for 2024 is to focus on hand drawn style maps even more, with inspiration from all the great cartographers here on the guild. I will still do my realistic maps here and there, but I really want to continue improving my drawing skills. Glad I am moving in the right direction with this one. Always happy for any critiques or areas I can improve on for the next map!

Yeah, that's a cool map. As others have said, the colors work really well and I find these volcanos pretty badass
