Hello there, Rex here. I'm a recreational worldbuilder who GMs for a lot of RPG campaigns, including both fantasy and sci-fi, with a special interest in alien or altered worlds, as well as futuristic cities and urban planning. Paradoxically design worlds that want real simulated climates and believable flora and fauna while also wanting floating islands, flying whales, and fire-breathing dragons to exist within them.

I've ghosted this forum for a while now as many of the climate mapping posts here are awesome reference, so I'm a little intimidated to be around so many skilled mappers, but willing to learn!

I can share some of the stuff I've been working on with my current fantasy map, although it's still in the blocking out stage and elevation is a nightmare. Would here be good or is there another section of the forum I should use for wips and so on?

If you scroll down on the forum main page a bit, you'll encounter this section here, which is our dedicated WIP section intended for just this purpose! You'll find subcategories for your different types of maps, and a General & Misc area at the top if you can't find a section that you feel your maps fit in.
