    Post Lunchtime Cartography

I set myself a challenge last week to do a map in a lunch break.

    Here's the result.

Its not bad, but the template for the forests is a little repetitive and I don't like how many of the building follow a square grid.

You might consider posting this maps in the work in progress forum. Its certainly a fine, functional map, but it could definitely be better

    I agree totally.

Needed it for that night though and only had an hour *grins*

I might return to it if time allows. The buildings I find particularly annoying.

Actually, I think it's a very stylish map, especially considering it has been done in an hour! It has a great fantasy feel to it. The forests look good enough and I like the swamp. Have some rep!

The mountains don't really pop out though, that's my only nitpick.
(and the buildings could use some work yes, this map deserves some more attention).

I love quickie maps and this is a very good one. Excellent work for a rush job.

I really like it as well. The mountains could use some better definition but other than that a well done map. The reddish tint adds a nice atmorpshere to the map. For a quickie it is well done.
    Cheers,
