Wip Working On a New Map - Here's The Compass

Well, technically a newer version of the Valcia map I've already made, but at any rate, here's a quick copy of the compass I've made for it:

    What do you all think?

I think it's pretty cool, looks like something that would fit with HALO or Command & Conquer.

Thanks. Yeah, the new map will definitely not fit into any traditional style - instead of a painting, it will be a giant slab of chiseled and engraved steel (done digitally, of course).

    Will do, definitely.

The only thing I'll need to figure out is what size to make it to share on here - the file in it's original size is 14,400 x 10,800 pixels (36" x 48" @ 300 dpi - to be printed & framed for my office), and that is waaay too big to share online. It'll have to be shrunk down; I just hope the quality won't be too degraded by it.

The compass in the OP, though, is at full size.

Chop it up into sections, fourths would probably do. Nice tech style.

Now that's not a bad idea.

I just posted the map! The compass' overall design is the same, but I went through and fleshed out more detail. Overall, I'd say the compass is more 'polished', not in a physical sense, but in a professional sense.

At any rate, here's the new map:
