Map Thank you for giving me hope!

Beyond crude hand drawn maps ive not done much in mapping until recently. The very thought of working with Photoshop gave me brain-lock until now.

Finding your site gave me hope that I might improve my map making skills.

    Thank you!

Here are a few examples of my more recent efforts.

Welcome to The Guild. Other than the rivers in the last one I'd say you're coming along there. Rivers don't split and go to two separate oceans...they join up. Common mistake so no biggie.

    Welcome Aboard!

The way I try to remember how rivers work is picture them as a tree. The branches start at higher elevations and continue to merge until the ultimately form the 'trunk' and enter the sea/ocean. If you need a delta you can envision that as the 'roots' - Hope that helps.
