This was my first attempt at making a map with Campaign cartographer 3. I can't say I'm overly thrilled with the end result and plan to take another go at remaking it soon.
This was done for one of my first D&D games, Azariel.

I dunno, looks pretty sharp to me...and way better than I could do with that tool. Interesting land-forms you've created - definitely distinctive looking. The map actually strikes me as Middle-Earthy for some reason.
Welcome to the Guild and have some rep!
Azariel...hmmm, wasn't that the name of Gargamel's cat on Smurfs? Well, okay, I imagine it's also the name of an angel or demon or something.
M
That is pretty nifty. I'm diggin it.

Thanks for the comments guys!
I... cannot remember where the name came from; the campaign started a good 10 years ago or so. But, it does sound like a name that would be used for an angel or demon XD
That cat was Azrael, which is also known as the Angel of Death, Izra 'il, in Islam. His names means "whom God helps" in Hebrew. Israfil breathes life into souls and Izra 'il takes breath away. He takes souls to God after "polishing them up" to make them look nicer. Azazel is similar sounding though a fallen angel - he brought aggression to men and vanity to women. His name means "God strengthens". Azael is also similar and fallen - he slept with human women giving rise to the Sedim (Assyrian guardian spirits). His name means "who God strengthens". OK enough of my religious lore rambling.

That's your first CC3 map? You're going to be scary good once you've had some practice.
