Default Mir'aj [World Map for the novel In the Shadow of Swords] by Ascension

    Mir'aj2bw.jpgMir'ajCL.jpg

Here are two maps (color inset and b&w interior) for the world of Mir'aj. These maps were completed by Ascension for the novel In the Shadow of Swords by Val Gunn (thats me ) that will be released next week.

I think it turned out amazing. Thanks again to Ascension.

Here is a link to Amazon.com where you can check it out:

Very Arabian Nights like flair. I hope the writing on the map border actually means something

We didn't know what we wanted the writing to say so I just used the alphabet with the Besmellah fonts.

Love the map Ascension! The Arabic flavor lends itself well! I've used the Besmellah font in the past for my game campaigns and let the group figure it out.... keeps them occupied for hours while I eat popcorn. lol

Val, read the first 10 pages on Amazon.com and ordered the book. *THIS* will be a fun story to read!

    Thanks again for sharing!!! *REPPED*

It is up now at A FANTASY READER. Take a look at the names it is now included with in the list--that is some nice company to be in.
