Default Skaya The Lands Begining WIP

Talge Skaya short for Talahem Gennis Skaya. In the old language very roughly translates to something similair to 'the mother land' or 'the lands begining' But, the humans of Skaya refer to it as Kaya *Pronounce: Kaea*
More history to come soon! :]
For now here is the basic land-shape.

That is a great looking landmass. I really like the island chain in the middle.

What style should I use for this? Or make my own?

I'd say try your own, and if you're not happy with it you can always change it later.

Style depends on what sort of information you want to convey. Sat-style is good for terrain, flat atlas is good for showing lots of roads and towns and borders between regions, shaded relief is good for a combination of the two. Antique, parchment, and hand-drawn are more for showing off drawing skills or practicing drawing. So it depends on what you're looking to do.

A overview.. Doesn't look that good. But I think I got the mountains okay.. And I am proud of the sea.

7bba41f5d507aa34632ffdfd1ea8b89e.pngI didn't like the style I was doing it in so I am trying it in a hand drawn Esque style.. I just need to finish the mountains.. And, figure out how to make them pop out! Any suggestions?

I also patched up a bit of things to make the mountains make more sense.
