Hello from Greece
it's always nice to find a place dedicated to cartography. I'm thirty years old, I've studied cartography and geography and I'm especially interested in the intersection between cartography and art. What I appreciate most in this forum is the fact that so many people consider maps to be something more than just plain technical drawings. I hope to contribute with some texts about the history of cartography and some historical maps which bring art and science together. Needless to say that many of the maps that I've seen here are of the highest quality and that for me registering as a member provides an opportunity to learn new techniques as well as practice my skills.
