Cool! Are those house crests, or just random stuff that looks good?
Hello, CG. Long time no see.
Inspired by wally-d-feed's fantastic win of the Jan/Feb 2012 light challenge, I now present my way-over-the-top compass rose.
I made it in PS, but with extensive use of Google Images, so thanks, Internet.
Enjoy!

That is indeed a fine compass with a great use of color. The level of detail is wonderful. My one nitpick is the drop shadow on the question mark... that might just be a look you were going for with the symbol but with how "flat and clean" everything else is it just look "off" to me some how... out of place. Even if you don't change anything it looks wonderful!
Reped!
Edit: I did not notice that this was in the "Finished Maps" Section... so don't worry about changing anything

@BHfuturist Check out my Video Tutorials & Vault of Free Map Elements
Unless otherwise stated in the post, all of my artwork is released into the Public Domain.
@Gidde
Yes to both. They are probably crests or flags or something, but they aren't related to anything in particular. They might be house banners, nation flags, or just some personal heraldry.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I tried some different things, like a straight border, but I thought the drop shadow looked better. It is suppose to look like its a part of the crest, and not that the question mark is floating above the compass rose. Oh well, I like it as it is.
Very good looking compass rose, smooth and all!
I hope I'm not being rude, but would you be willing to allow me to use this image as an icon for my Campus Movie Fest group icon? I can attribute it to you in my Bio, but if you're not cool with that I completely understand.
I like the inner circle with the three eyed sun. Very good idea. Very fine line graphic, pleasing colours and nice paper structure.
But the outer circle with the different icons is not very fitting from a graphic design point of view.
The styles of all those elements are to different to fit together. It's a loose collection without a visual concept.
My advice would be to make it on your own. Then the missed identity will come to your work.
