I greet you, great cartographers!

My name is Milan and I am from Czech Republic. As many other members, I came here because of my interest in various kinds of art. I always loved playing musical instruments, writing stories and drawing, but due to my "get excited for something and lose interest in it immidiately" nature, I remain permanently active only in the first mentioned point. I have a longer vacation now, so I have decided to try to advance in a map for my fantasy/sci-fi novel (that will probably never be finished) . This leads me to world building that I find very fun, interesting and educational at the same time.

I have already gained a lot of knowledge while reading various tutorials and advices here in forum and I have to thank all of you for that. The number of talented, educated and helpful people here in Cartographers Guild is tremendous. I'm looking forward to learn many new techniques of mapmaking and I hope I'll soon be able to show some of my work.

I find I too get interested in things and lose interest too quickly, or usually just jump to something else. Believe it or not, drawing maps has started to become training for me to learn to focus and keep focus, to develop and get better at something creative. I hope you find what you're looking for here and I'm hoping to see your work soon!
