Oh, I do like that! I had difficulty at first seeing where some things ended but it's very well drawn. What software?
As a suggestion, maybe add a nice simple one or two line border around the edge?
Also, welcome!
This is the Land of the Three Sisters and the Mother. A bit of an odd name, but I like to create stories and history for my maps and during the creation of the map I wrote an introduction to a story that takes place within the world, and during that this name popped up. For some reason it felt odd but interesting. I wanted the style of the map to feel like it could exist in the world it depicted so it's not colourful or overly fancy as the simpler the map, the cheaper to buy it, and that's always important for travelers. I'm slowly building a history and purpose to each place, but I also like to impart those aspects through names and positioning of points of interest. I find that if I know everything there is to know about the world I lose interest, so I crop down to the most important areas while leaving clues to other areas that can inspire stories for me and possibly anyone that views it. What do you think? Does the style make you feel like it could have existed in a fantasy world?

Thanks for the welcome, and Yeah! I had some real problems with legibility. I'm not sure why, it's possible that because the programme (Paint Tools Sai, a mostly translated japanese programme) isn't vector based it makes it difficult for it to show thin details. I'm not really experienced in digital artistry. Maybe someone knows why? As it is though, I'm taking the centers of civilisations (about 4-5 places on that map) and doing blown up maps of them to allow for more detail.
Hi Hcti, welcome to the CG!
I really like this map. The landshapes are right up my alley.
Is there more to this world (i assume that, in-world, there is, as there are many pointers to other places)? In other words: will you map the rest?
Any chance for a higher resolution of the map? I would like to zoom in more to see all the details.
Have a Like and some Rep. !
I'm trapped in Darkness,
Still I reach out for the Stars
Very well done map!
I really like that landshapes, and also the very subtle (non)colouring.
There are some things that I would try to change in order to better fit this style - to make it a "style of the map to feel like it could exist in the world it depicted", as you wrote. Things to make it not-so-digitally-perfect.
Most of these would only be little details, but the one thing you should definitly add is some kind of border - even if it is only a fading-out effect.
And another little thing I noticed: On the western landmass, there are the "Dominions of Eleton"... they are suffering from a surplus of apostrophes.
I love the style of your map very impressive. I like all the little details and smoke billowing very nice. I'm sure it will add more depth and value to the story. It would be nice to read your original story that went with it ;D.
