Hello to everyone, my name is Andrea, I am italian, so please forgive me if i will do some mistakes.
I am a geologist, and I have recently discovered this passion for mapping, and create a new world.
I play with some fantasy RPG, and with some friends we are creating one, so I decide to learn as much as I can about creating maps.

I have some experience with photoshop but i know i will learn a lot here.

I have got my master one year ago, 3D seismic interpretation and in general for Oil and Gas industry...but I am still unemployed... just today reading some tutorial here, I have learnt how to create mountains with my wacom bamboo pen and touch...is not that easy learn how to use it...now i'm looking for tutorials for trees, rivers and coastline, but i think i have to understand more about what kind of style i want to use :S

i was looking to Max's Maps black and with style now...and oh my ... I would like to create something like that.

in the future realistic maps, with all the geologic aspect it will be awesome
