    Good morning, CG! =)

Kind of funny how this 'darker, DARKER!'-calls turned out Now that I see it I'd say it is definitely an improvement. I'd prefer the coasts a bit darker (even in a real image the coasts are often just another tint and not really lighter) because to me it seems like the continents are glowing. But if it's your taste and you like it this way it is completely ok and just 'your style'.

@Chick: Saturation, good that you mentioned it again!

I added a realistic image just to show how dark you could go for reference. Keep up the work, this is really good so far! =)

Yeah, when I said that my style was more "realistic" earlier, that might have been the wrong word to use. I was just comparing my map to the one Chick linked - mine is a more rendered style, while that one was a hand-drawn one. So yeah, I realise that my style of seas isn't too realistic, but I quite like it, so I doubt I'll go the route of making it look as realistic as possible. That said, I probably will revisit the sea before I'm done, probably desaturate it a bit.

Okay, so here's my latest update. Not too much has changed - I've finished redoing the mountains, and retouched a few other small details. I'll probably tinker with some other small details, like the saturation of some parts, or snow on the peaks of mountains, next.

Well, I believe that I'm finished with the geographical features, so now it's on to labelling. However, this is the section that I'm the most unsure of, so feedback would definitely be appreciated. That said, here's the first continent, as a style test. What do you guys think?

Labelling is what I feel to be one of my weaknesses so I prefere not to give you any advice on this point; but i can tell you, I like what you have done since now, your "atlas" style is clean and pleasent. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm almost done with the labelling, so the final update should be up tomorrow. And yeah, I don't know why, but I do seem to struggle with labelling. I'm quite happy with how it's looking here, though.

Ok. Well, I've finished labelling, and here's the result.

There are a few other minor tweaks that I'll do, small details that I'll alter, but the map is, essentially, done. If anyone has any final pieces of advice, now's the time. Cheers.

I like the color contrast much better than what you started with
