Hello, everyone. My name is Ptakub and I am from Poland. What must be said: most of stereotypes about Poland are actually true. Yep. Whatever you heard about this beautiful country, the probability of its corectness is really high, so you may assume that's right. Just don't mistake Poland stereotypes with Russia stereotypes, we don't ride bears and we don't sip vodka as a soft drink to dinner. Sadly.
Since I was little I've really liked to create things and it just got stronger with age. So as it started with blocks (Lego <3) and drawing, I now love multiple branches of art, though I am not especially good or artistic in any of them as I pay more attention to expressing all of my ideas than to impression and final effect. Besides world building, I create music (progressive rock, focusing on sick but flowing rhythms and complex harmonies), less often draw (mostly rather comic-like things related to conworld) and write (some novels in the conworld, lyrics to the music). So while I'm artistic Jack-of-all-trades and master of none, there are some universal rules of creating anything which I already learned and I think I'm quite experienced in making new things - but of course there's still a long road before me.
My conworld is Eiran and I've been building it for years. It's classic fantasy with elves, dwarves, orcs etc, but it deconstructs some of typical, generic features. There's no race=nation rule, nearly every race is spread through many countries and cultures and has internal conflicts, and most of the countries are made of many races. Spirituality isn't built around pantheon and cosmogony, but around soul being the platonian idea, essence, identyty of every being, not only living. Magic is treated as phenomenons and rules on the edge of the material and spiritual world and so it's possible to study and describe it like one may study and describe physics. I hope overall idea is interesting at least a little.
