This is lovely, professional work, Josiah and it'll look fantastic in a book. Have to agree with the other comments about the rivers vs coastlines. It took a moment for my eyes to sort out what I was seeing! It's beautifully drawn, though, and the mountains, forests and typography look great. Just fantastic work all round. Will rep if I can.

Great job on this - I really like it. I'll be the dissenter also and say I think the rivers work just fine.

Very nice work. I like the sketchy style, and am amazed that the map is still so clear and easy to read in spite of it. Have some rep

As always, let me know what you think!
    I think it's awesome .
As I previously said, I really love how you depicted some elements like the Tower of Silence, the croplands... and the illustrations are really nice.

"Makkut Eastern Settlement" and Tower of Silence seem a little tight on the line spacing. No crazy about the compass rose, other than that really line this, I agree with GLS on the thickess/coloring of the rivers, could be a 80% gray or something? Nice job and congrats on the commission, I'm sure there very happy.
Thanks Snodsy, I'll keep those in mind for next time.

Thank you very much snodsy. I would also love to see it in colour, but unfortunately that's not what the client asked for.

    Thanks Rob.

Thanks Diamond. I wonder if it's just a matter of the brain or opinion that sorts that out.

Thanks! It took a while to get the style I was going for and actually make it work.

You can't do that. You can't sneak in just as I'm making my big reply post.
