It's very cool to see all these maps together. Can't wait to see the final Boredom Country ;P
Thanks a lot Joel. I have to admit I rushed this one a little in the forest department s I now aim to the big picture but it was pretty pleasant to go back to this project with a drive.
Thanks a lot Karl ! I hope you're right

It'll take some time. First, finish the maps A4 sheet by A4 sheet, then correctly connect everything, fragment, redraw the linework, color, shade then, frankenstein the whole lot You gonna have to wait some time.
I did it in the train yesterday night but it'll have to wait a month before I can scan it. I guess the next update will have more than one map.
Hey, it's boredom time again !
Here's a 2h30 map with multiple flaws but pretty pleasant to make. The desert is ugly (you cannot even tell where it is), the compass is ugly but I'm happy with the rest. Dunno if it'll connect with the other maps, we'll see.

As always, feel free to comment and critic.
I'm beginning to think its a good job you get bored every now and then. Even if you aren't completely satisfied by the result, its certainly something interesting for the rest of us to look at... and envy! Wish I drew such interesting stuff when I was bored! LOL!
That's a really unique and pleasing land shape, and your sense of composition, even though this is a doodle, is spot on

C'est les conseils de classes qui recommencent ?
Anyway, I like your new coastal waves, but the mountains seems very pointy to me !
I'm glad you're bored ! Some new exciting maps ahead !
Thanks a lot Mouse ! Do not sell yourself short, the only way to make maps is to take a sheet of paper, look at a map you like and try to mimic some features. Your own style (and you already got a pretty impressive one) will settle in quietly without you noticing.
Merci beaucoup Joel, les conseils de classes sont effectivement là I was a bit quick on the mountains, if I redo the map digitally, I'll add some roughness to the mountain ridges, I promise
I like the fiddly little island bits on all of the edges. Given how fractury it all is, I wonder if you've thought about adding some lakes or wider sections of the river for variation.
