Wow, its so good. Not much feedback I am even able to muster, its just a matter of nitpicking taste.

I dont know how to give feedback on it. The grass and dirt outside the city is a bit dull, but then again the focus should be on the city and the style is simplistic overall. Something to symbolize farms maybe.

Great maps! Best I have seen in its genre for some time if not all time

Maybe not quite what you're looking for, but there is a thread full of typography suggestions here. There could be some dead links in the first few pages, given that it goes back to 2007, but the later pages hopefully still have working links.

Sapiento, sorry for the minor thread hi-jack. Your map is gorgeous and I love the font you've chosen in the legend. Can I ask why you've chosen a slightly different blackletter font for the title cartouche?

    No worries!
I looked at some old maps and I had the impression the old cartographers sometimes went for a more elaborate writing for the titles on their maps.

I agree with the others this is great. Is it commisioned or just for fun?
