Hello there,

I've been interested in Cartography for some time. I've always had a fondness for the maps of the Baldur's Gate series as well as it's companions Neverwinter Nights and Icewind Dale. It's always been on the back burner to actually start making my own maps. But I feel that this is one of many skills I would regret never learning especially as an avid fan of RPGs. Honestly I thought purchasing a tablet would have forced my hand but I realize now it's always been my own mental blocks. Anyway, now I'm here. I have a project set up and I'm willing to make the mistakes it takes to actually learn to illustrate all of the styles of maps.

All things said, I hope to learn. To figure out the software I've only scratched the surface of. And to look at styles of maps that are vastly different from my own.
