Just terrific! Not so much a map as pure art. The mix of architectural styles in the city really makes it come alive. You can really get a sense of the history and development of the place by details such as the old, ruined sections of city walls among the houses.

    10 Braun & Hogenbergs out of 10!

If you ever do another city map like this, consider including one of those bridges with houses on them, like the Ponte Vecchio or Old London Bridge. I always thought they look cool.

This map is astonishing, and I salute you!

I'm calling first dibs when it's time for Atlas Awards nominations.

It's enough French for me, Earth ! Merci !! ^^

    Yet another Beee masterpiece!
Hmm... It the second time someone tell me something like this about my colors (the first time was about Middle Earth I think), even if I calibrated my screens between the two comments... On my screens, the map is pretty saturated with a good contrast, so I wonder where is the problem ? If someone can help, I would be really grateful !
And... thanks a lot for the kind words, and for the rep aswell !! ^^

Hehe, I had the amazing Villes du Monde by Braun & Hogenberg open next to me during the whole process : best inspiration book ever for a city map (but the book is so heavy it broke my lectern and I had to buy a new one ^^).
Sadly it was a little too late when I finally had the idea about inhabited bridges and they didn't fit the map at this stage, which was sad because I love them too. If I'm super lucky and have another opportunity to draw a similar map, one condition will be to draw some of them for sure ! ^^

I am not sure if my eyes could do this. That is an amazing amount of drawing in there. Great job, it looks beautiful.

Default Level of detail is astounding!

The little variations in the structures carry this art-piece home!
