I love your 5-point perspective maps! Very visually striking. I particularly like Rimcrest and those tall waterfalls.
Hello fellow guild members!
Here is my latest main project so far, a 5-point pespective map made for a long time customer that wanted to have the other side of its world illustrated.
It is better to be able to rotate the map in one of your image viewer. Ultimately, the printed thing will be placed on an axis allowing the artwork to spin
I really loved playing with elevation and making things sometime a bit exagerrated. The color process and the rendering of the night sky was another nice step to the process.
All in all, I really feel like a special atmosphere coming out of the artwork, and am pretty happy with the results!
Without further announcement, please welcome this piece of digital thing!
Do not hesitate to comment it, I'll be glad to know your opinions on this!

I absolutely love this! The perspective is great and I love the bold colouring. Just an awesome piece!

A fine performance from a perspective point of view... What a piece of work!
This is an impressive one and with your evocative style and the flourishes around the globe, it really looks fantastic !
Impressive indeed, I imagine how many maps you must have made and in all acquiring habilities to finally get into this level!
Thank you everyone for your kind words
I'm thinking of doing a recolor in a more parchment/golden tone mood...

Really fun and striking! I especially love the buildings and the ice forms. The bright colors are striking, too.
It looks like you took inspiration from solar loops and prominences for the atmospheric effects around the limb of the planet, especially over Meileh's Peak. I am curious why you chose that? (It looks awesome, it's just...usually that effect makes me think of hot, violent plasma on the surface of a star!)
The only thing I'm not really sold on is the orientation of all the labels. (The inconsistency: sometimes they are vertical along the perspective, sometimes they are flat on the planet's surface, sometimes they are curved.) But...I can't think of a better way to do it. The five-point perspective makes them quite a puzzle.
