Map Back Again! And I come bearing gifts...

Hey all, I tell you what, it feels good to be back again. I used to go by UnstableGunEnthusiast, and I make hand-drawn and stippled maps.

I last posted to the Cartographer's Guild back in 2022, and then promptly lost two important things:
    1. The time to make maps because of messed up work timings
    2. The password to the other account

If anyone's curious, here are some of the maps I made and posted here in the past:

    NEW ZEALAND

As you can probably tell, I got comfortable with a particular style. While that in itself isn't a bad thing, I also got bored and wanted to do something new with each map. That quickly got out of hand, and I started getting burnt out faster and faster. I'm back now, and am currently working on a Historical Map of Japan, circa 1603.

Here's some pictures from that wip project (please keep in mind that my photography skills haven't improved in the interim):

As always, any and all advice/critique is appreciated!

Hey, you swapped a gun for a map. That sounds like a positive transition.

Nice to see you back. You know, if you ask us admins, you can change your handle from one to another and keep your historical posts - unless your metamorphosis requires you to shed your old self.

It will be good to see what style you pursue now. Look forward to seeing it.
