Welcome Depassage! Would love to see some of your work.
Hi all !
I'm Patrick and I just discovered this forum a couple days ago through Pyrandon's gallery in DeviantArt.
I'm a semi-professional cartographer for a French RPG publishing company Ludopathes Ed. mainly working on the French Talislanta setting.
Hope I will be able to post some of my work here to show you what I'm talking about.

Hi DePassage & welcome. If you have seen Dons work you will know its pretty great stuff. He was a real regular here but hasn't been so active for quite a while now. If you haven't seen his tiled floor map then you have to see it. Certainly one of the best things that's ever been posted here. I'll try to dig the link for you.
There's a members map link in my sig and I think France is seriously under represented. I know many of the members here said they were from France too.
Look forward to seeing your maps or art as well.

Thanks for the greetings.
It's exactly those maps I discovered and the tuto in this forum. So I decided to try this technique to make my own mosaic style map of Antique Mediterranean.
I'll post my attempt in the tuto.
Great to have you here, Patrick! Enjoy, learn, and contribute to the body of knowledge we are building.
best
