Map of Lomaria

[Dwalus]

I recently finished my first map from tutorials here. It's the fictional continent of Lomaria, which is (quite obviously) based on Europe for practical purposes. It's a part of a year-long war game I'm playing with around 20 other people and we wanted a map that was very much like Europe but in a fictional fantasy world.

I'm trying to work on a better and higher resolution map right now using @arsheesh's tutorial, but I am struggling a bit with shading in the mountain ranges:

Note: I shrunk the map from 7200 pixels square to 1000 for uploading.

Here's the original map we used. Each pixel represents two square miles, making the map roughly 1/3 the size of Europe.
