I've been wanting to try this for a while, a much more photo realistic style than I usually do. I used the Eriond Tutorial by Arsheesh, and did it in GIMP, Photoshop and Wilbur. I prefer photoshop over GIMP but there are a few features that are better in GIMP I find, such as the clouds. I started this last night, probably total around 5 hours or less.

This is completely for fun and testing, I came up with all the labels on the spot, and decided to leave the cities unlabeled, it might just get a bit cluttered then. I started this with a way huger file, 8000*10000 but learned GIMP doesn't like that, and Wilbur probably doesn't either, so a cropped piece of it and used that.

I am very pleased with this, my first photorealistic style map, and would like to make more. I'd love to hear what people think.
