Hi there everyone! how are you all?

I´m new on the forums (reason why I´m making my introduction in here) and I just want to say that this is more than awesome. I've always wanted to learn a bit more about fantasy cartography and, why not? normal cartography, and since I found this jewel in the middle of the vast internet, I have been full of motivation, even to create my own maps as well.

I started to play RPG games (mostly D&D, pencil & paper) since I was in school and from that moment I realized that having a map was really important, not just a simple map (Well.. When I started to play D&D my maps were quite, quite, quite, quite basic... Like "This line over here is a river and this dot.. a town.. this other bigger dot is, of course, a bigger town") to guide your players inside the lands where the adventure was taking place. Then I started to write a bit, was fun while it lasted, and I was also in need of a good map to know how to plan things for the story, and also remember some weird names that I used in those stories.

Few days ago a friend asked me why I was starting to use my name as Gnomograper, and the answer is simple (Just in case that smeone in here is wondering about that), none of my players, never in my entire years of D&D mastering, have picked a Gnome to play with, so eventually I decided to make them all NPCs, and in my adventures all the best cartographers are Gnomes... I wanted to give them some glory even if no one wanted to use them as a race. So, I came up with "Gnomographer", which was just fun and thats it, was for fun.

I will try to upload some of my work in here as soon as I get more confident about my work, I´m lookign forwar to learn lots of things in here and be able to share ideas as well!
